Offline navigation saves money and sometimes whole vacations so we want to make sure the packages are in bite-sized pieces that fit to your phone’s memory next to the music and holiday snaps. That’s why we divided the fairly large package of Ukraine in to 25 separate regions in the latest map update. We also added three northern regions of Canada as downloadable areas: Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon.
We’ve upgraded the coverage in Armenia, Tonga and Vanuatu with significantly more roads and improved road geometry.
We are continuing our roll-out of new transit geometries around the world. With the latest map update, Sydney and Prague have been overhauled to a more realistic and beautiful representations on the map canvas.
In addition to the updated visualization of transit lines, we have been working on extending the coverage which now includes the national railway in Italy. At the same time, we are working with local transit agencies around the world to keep the current coverage up-to-date with changes to their schedules.

After downloading your maps, restart the application to use them. If you’re not sure whether you have the latest updates, open the HERE Maps menu, tap on About and you should see 8.30.64.xxx next to the HERE logo.
