Transit information from HERE makes it as easy as possible to get around using public transport, providing coverage for more than 1,000 urban areas in 40 countries. With the number rising weekly.

As that number rises, we’re increasingly able to offer 100 per cent coverage of all the public transport systems in a country. This means that you can plan a transit journey between any two addresses within the same country. There were already 13 countries on this list and now we’ve added full coverage of Switzerland too, to take it to 14.

With a clean, modern and efficient system, Switzerland is one of the leading countries in the world when it comes to transit, but there's always room for improvement when it comes to taking advantage of it. Now the Swiss railways company (SBB/CFF/FFS) has signed up to offer all the information you’ll need to get around through HERE apps.

That means it's easier than ever to find out where the nearest bus leaves from, how to get there, what bus, train or tram you need to catch and far more information besides. The Swiss are only the latest in a long line to benefit from full coverage on HERE too, with millions of people already using HERE for all their public transport needs around the world.

Including Switzerland, we now offer full transit information in the following countries: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Israel, The Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland (new!), Taiwan and Ukraine.

That's just for starters, too, and with 100 per cent coverage on the way for other countries, traveling using public transport has never been easier.
